Answering the Call: The Journey Behind Eternal Crown

Being a hero isn't about accolades but about intentional, positive ...
Preaching the Gospel on the streets of Gitega Burundi July 2022

Wow—where do I even begin?

This journey kicked off in 2011 with my first clothing brand, Covered in the WORD. It was simple: help people share the Gospel everywhere they went. It wasn’t flashy, but it was meaningful. That seed grew into something deeper in 2016, when the concept for Eternal Crown was born—a brand rooted in faith, designed to connect people to Jesus in a more subtle, intentional way.

But let’s be real—it wasn’t all smooth. There were struggles, setbacks, and a lot of false starts. Then came 2020, a year of big questions and even bigger decisions. I made a choice that would change everything: to step out in faith and move to Africa. In 2022, I spent 8 months living in Tanzania—and it wrecked me in the best way possible. I saw real joy in the middle of real hardship. That experience flipped my perspective on success, purpose, and what actually matters.

Coming back in 2023, it was clear: Eternal Crown could no longer just be a clothing brand. It had to be a movement.

Teaming up with Scott, we reimagined the vision—one that centered not around products, but people. Not around hype, but around true heroes: everyday individuals making a lasting impact, no spotlight needed. We wanted to redefine heroism. Not the kind built on fame or filters, but the kind that lives in quiet courage, selfless acts, and a life lived for others.

This is what Eternal Crown stands for now. It’s more than style—it’s a calling. A reminder that each of us carries the capacity for purpose, legacy, and impact. We’re here to spotlight those stories and spark more of them.

Because being a hero isn’t about being seen.
It’s about choosing to serve.
That’s the mark of a true hero.
